KIEV, Oct. 4 – The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has created three quick response centers which will coordinate the construction of important energy facilities.
The ministry said that operation of the centers will promote the establishment of fruitful cooperation between the ministry and other profile ministries, bodies, customers, design and construction organizations, local authorities and will reduce the time needed to agree on decisions.
Today, quick response centers to manage a project on to build a 750 kilovolt power transmission line to transmit electricity generated by Rivne and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plants, which costs UAH 1.568 billion, a project on the construction of a first stage of the Dnistrovska pumped storage hydroelectric power plant (UAH 8.458 billion) and a project on the construction of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant-Kakhovska 750 kilovolt power transmission line (UAH 4.893 billion) have been created.
