ODESSA, Sept. 26 – The Prosecutor General's Office has opened a criminal case against Deputy Odessa Mayor Mykola Ilchenko under part 3, Article 368 of the Criminal Code - taking large bribes, the Prosecutor General's Office in Odessa region said.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Odessa region opened a bribery case against officials of municipal enterprises of Odessa and of Odessa City Council on September 23.

As reported, a joint group of law enforcement bodies started legal proceedings against Ilchenko at 1600 on Thursday.
