KIEV, Sept. 26 – Talks between the government and protesters over a controversial bill reducing social spending collapsed with the growing possibility that street protests may resume, Radio Liberty reported Monday, citing a protest leader.

The protesters attempted to storm parliament building last week, but retreated after lawmakers agreed to postpone the bill, which would allow the government to cut social spending to 10 million people.
