KIEV, Sept. 22 – Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) supports a project on reconstruction of Kiev-based Energiya incineration plant funds from the sale of quotas under Kyoto protocol, Ukrainian Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Mykola Zlochevsky told Interfax-Ukraine.
"We held talks and they confirmed that they are ready to use NEDO's funds, which Ukraine obtained for the sale of units [assigned amount units]… they will approve a project for the reconstruction of the Energiya plant," the minister said.
He said that now the design of a project for the plant's reconstruction is being finished.
