KIEV, Sept. 12 – Donetsk-based DTEK Power Trade LLC said it is in talks on the start of commercial exports of Ukrainian electricity to Poland in October.
The company said that agreements with potential buyers of Ukrainian electricity could be reached by late September.
"Thanks to the systemic work of DTEK Power Trade with potential contractors in Poland, we've obtained the chance to [gain more] end consumers of Ukrainian electricity and start commercial supplies. Now we're studying the price situation and are holding talks, but concrete agreements could be achieved only by the end of September," said the director of DTEK Power Trade, Andriy Favorov.
