KIEV, Aug. 17 – Austria's Activ Solar announced it has finished construction of the first stage of a 20-megawatt solar power plant in Perovo (Simferopol District, Crimea).
The company did not disclose the planned total generating capacity of the plant.
The first stage of the plant in Perovo will generate some 26.5 gigawatt hours of electricity per year. It has over 88 monocrystalline and polycrystalline photovoltaic modules installed on a 40-hectare site. Today this is the largest single-row solar system installed in the region.
