KIEV, July 29 — President Viktor Yanukovych’s administration on Friday denied allegations it was orchestrating the trial of opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, and said it will investigate a mystery email that has indicated otherwise.

The email, sent to Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper late Thursday, contained a Mictrosoft Word document on behalf of a key witness demanding an apology. The ‘properties’ of the document show it has been written in ‘STPU,’ which stands for the ‘Secretariat of the President of Ukraine.’
