KIEV, July 29 - Ukraine extended for two weeks a tender for selecting a company to conduct a feasibility study for a liquefied natural gas terminal amid overwhelming international response, a state agency announced Thursday.
Companies will be able to submit their bids by August 22 to participate in the tender, the State Investment and National Projects Management Agency announced. The original deadline was set on August 8.
Vladyslav Kaskiv, the head of the agency, said 54 companies, including 48 “powerful international companies,” have requested between July 7 and July 17 some additional information about the upcoming tender.
