KIEV, July 7 - British oil and gas company Cadogan Petroleum plc and Italy's Eni S.p.A. closed a transaction on July 6 where Eni acquired 30% of Pokrovskoe Petroleum B.V. and 60% in Zagoryanska Petroleum B.V. (both registered in the Netherlands), which are licensed to develop the Pokrovska and Zagoryanska oil and gas fields in Ukraine.

Cadogan said in stock exchange statement that Eni had also received an option for purchase an additional 30% in Pokroskvoe Petroleum.
