KIEV, July 5 – Parliament has cancelled the mandatory technical inspection of passenger cars that are not used for commercial purposes.
A total of 262 MPs out of the 397 registered in the parliament's session hall on Tuesday voted for a law on amendments to some laws regarding the cancellation of excessive government regulation in the sphere of road transport.
The law cancels mandatory inspection for cars that are not used for commercial purposes, frees the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's traffic police from conducting the mandatory technical inspection of vehicles, and transfers these powers to business entities.
