KIEV, July 1 - President Viktor Yanukovych on Friday threatened to "bury" corrupt officials and to "rip off" their heads, in comments showing he was losing patience with slow deregulation.

"If you prevent the development of businesses and the economy, if you push for bribes ... and if you get caught, your head will be ripped off," said Yanukovych, the Interfax agency reported.
