KIEV, June 21 - The World Bank has improved its growth forecast for Ukraine' gross domestic product for this year from 4% to 4.5%, Ruslan Piontkovsky, senior economist at the bank's representative office in Kiev, said on Tuesday.

Piontkovsky said that economic development would slow down during the second half of 2011 owing, in particular, to rising prices on gas imports.
