KIEV, June 6 – Russia's Rostselmash, one of the largest world's manufacturers of agricultural machinery, has postponed a project to assemble combines and create joint production facilities in Donetsk region due to the absence of financing, said Kyrylo Sevriukov the director of Rostselmash's representative office in Ukraine.
"All projects can work only when there is financing. The issue of allocating funds to Donetsk region to partially compensate the region's farmers for the cost of the combines was discussed. A site has been selected, equipment has been imported, but the funds have not been allocated, so we have not taken the step," Sevriukov told the press on the Agro 2011 exhibition in Kiev.
