KIEV, May 10 - Aditya Mittal, ArcelorMittal's CFO, as part of his visit to ArcelorMittal's companies in Kryvy Rih, Temirtau (Kazakhstan) and Kuzbass (Russia) has pointed to the importance of continuation of the upgrade of the largest steel mill in Ukraine – ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) and increasing iron ore extraction.
"I am visiting Ukraine together with some of my GMB colleagues as part of our CIS trip, which includes Kryviy Rih, Kuzbass (Russia) and Temirtau (Kazakhstan). Together with the top management of each site, we'll review the strategy and discuss future steps. Most important, however, is to get the chance to meet and interact with our colleagues and see the facilities. Our primary goal at ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih is to see the production facilities and to discuss with the plant's management its mid-term and long-term strategy for 2014-2020," he said in an interview with the corporate publication of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih.
