KIEV, March 21 - A Palestinian who went missing last month in Ukraine after boarding a train in Kharkov headed to Kiev was kidnapped by agents of Mossad and taken to Israel against his will, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.
The report came as Israel admitted on Monday that Dirar Abu Sisi, 42, was held in an Israeli prison cell.
Ukraine’s security service, SBU, on Monday declined to comment on both reports.
Abu Sisi, who is director of operations at the Gaza power generation plant, told a lawyer from the Gaza-based Palestinian Center for Human Rights said he was traveling to Kiev on February 19 for a meeting with his brother who was coming from The Netherlands.
