KIEV, March 16 – Ukraine’s authorities on Wednesday allowed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko leave the country on March 23 for a meeting with European leaders in Brussels.
The decision is a victory for Tymoshenko, whose travel requests have been denied at least twice earlier this year.
“The investigator reviewed the request and provided the permission for the travel to Brussels,” the Pros4ecutor General’s Office reported on Wednesday.
