BRUSSELS, March 16 - The EU, in a strongly worded statement, urged Ukraine to make progress on reforms.
"We must continue to insist on the progress in major reforms in Ukraine, in particular, judicial, electoral, and constitutional reform. The fight against corruption is equally necessary," Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Neighborhood and the Western Balkans at the EU's European External Action Service Miroslav Lajcak said in Brussels.
He said that "the successful implementation of these reforms is critical for achieving political association, which we want to achieve in our new agreement built on common values."
