KIEV, March 14 – The Antimonopoly Committee could fine fuel traders up to UAH 1 billion for rapidly increasing the prices of A-95 and A-02 gasoline at the end of 2010 and in the first few days of 2011, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boiko has said in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine newspaper.
"The investigation into the price collusion between the main fuel market players conducted by the AMCU is at the final stage. If the facts are proven, fuel traders could be fined… up to UAH 1 billion," the minister said.
