KIEV, March 10 – The growth of industrial prices in Ukraine in February accelerated to 4.8%, from 1.3% in January, 0.9% in December and 0.3% in November, the State Statistics Service reported.

Industrial prices in February 2010 did not grow so much - only by 1.9%, therefore the year-over-year growth of industrial prices in February 2011 reached 21.4%, compared to 18% in January 2011.

In particular, prices in the mining industry in February grew by 11.2%. Prices of crude iron ore increased by 27% and those of oil by 5.9%, the statistics service reported.
