KIEV, Feb. 17 – The Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry has forecast that inflation in February will be lower than inflation in January, according to First Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Vadym Kopylov.
"I think that in February will have lower inflation than in January," Kopylov said at a press conference in Kiev on Wednesday.
He said that today there is a trend for price growth to stop, while in January a slight rise in prices was seen, which was partly due to increases in utilities tariffs. Kopylov said that according to the ministry, the price of meat is falling, and the price of oil is not growing as quickly.
