KIEV, Jan. 19 – The World Bank is considering an additional financing of $150 million under the Second Export Development Project (EDP2) for Ukraine.
According to a bank report issued on Wednesday, the bank's board is planning to decide on the issue on March 17.
It is expected that the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, part of the World Bank, would provide $150 million to state-run Ukreximbank, which would directly credit its exporting clients with $45 million, while $105 million would be used for further on-lending to eligible financial intermediaries.
