KIEV, Jan. 10 – Zaporizhstal has spent over UAH 980 million on the installation of an aggregate that injects powdered coal into blast furnaces.
The company says that the realization of the project planned for 2010-2011 would allow cutting power and technological fuel consumption during cast iron production by over 50 kilograms of conventional fuel or 194,000 tons of conventional fuel per year with annual production of 3.88 million tons of cast iron.
The expected reduction of natural gas consumption would be over 300 million cubic meters.
