KIEV, Dec. 16 - The Ukrainian cabinet has decided to sign an amicable agreement with Bryansk Engineering Plant managing company (Russia), the owner of a 76% stake in OJSC Luhanskteplovoz Holding.
"Yes, the decision has been made. The decision opens a normal way for the plant's operation. We're interested in normal operation of the plant," Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.
Oleksandr Riabchenko, the head of the State Property Fund, told journalists in Kiev earlier on Wednesday that the government plans to consider the issue.
"They sent a letter, where they proposed that we sign an amicable agreement. We sent a letter to the government with our vision of the situation. Let the government decide," he said.
