KIEV, Dec. 8 – Ukraine’s government, fighting off demands for financial compensation, delayed by three months talks with U.S. oil company Vanco Energy aimed at an amicable agreement.

The agreement was originally expected to be signed before the end of September, but the new target is the end of December, Mykola Zlochevskiy, the environment minister, said.
