KIEV, Dec. 7 - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has recommended that EUROCONTROL, the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation, exclude Ukraine from the list of countries participating in the organization.

Ulrich Schulte-Strathaus, the Association of European Airlines (AEA) Secretary General, told the press that IATA had sent a relevant letter to EUROCONTROL on September 3, 2010.

He said that the recommendation is linked to unjustifiable increase in fees for navigation services, despite the IATA's protests.
