KIEV, Dec. 6 – The new Tax Code with the president's amendments, which has been passed by Parliament and signed by the president, preserve the existing taxation system and offers more room for avoiding tax and using corrupt tax evasion schemes, according to Natalia Korolevska, the head of Parliament’s committee for industrial and regulatory policy and entrepreneurship.

"This Tax Code preserves the same taxation system. What is more, it offers more room for optimization, more room for corrupt schemes and provides benefits for various industries that are not economically grounded," she said at a briefing in Kiev.
