KIEV, Dec. 6 – The creation of joint ventures between Naftogaz Ukrayiny and Russia's OJSC Gazprom should be considered in the context of cooperation in the gas supply and transit sector, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

He said that the possibility of creation of the JVs is only being discussed.

"I think that we clearly said that the process of the JV creation has not passed its legal and organization stage, and these are still proposals. I believe that all of the proposals should be considered in the context of all our relations in the gas sphere, gas supplies and gas transit," he said.
