MOSCOW, Oct. 18 – Ukraine and Russia are having problems maintaining the steady mass production of the An-148 regional aircraft, according to the minutes of the seventh meeting of the sub-commission for cooperation in the aviation industry of the committee for economic cooperation of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission.

According to the minutes, Ukraine and Russia are to take measures to provide for the steady mass production and supply of aircraft made by Russia's Voronezh Aviation Plant (VASO) and Antonov state-run enterprise to realize the An-148 production program in 2010-2011.

As reported, there are over 50 firm orders for An-148 aircraft.
