LVIV, Sept. 10 – Lviv City Council has voted to ask the European Parliament and the Organization for Security and Co-operation to monitor upcoming local elections in Ukraine.
Sixty-three deputies supported the draft address, which was submitted by the BYT and the Reforms and Order factions on Thursday.
Lviv City Council will ask the European Parliament and OSCE to observe the elections process in Ukraine attentively and create a monitoring group of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to keep preparations for the local elections in Ukraine under observation.
