MOSCOW, Sept. 7 – The Ukrainian leadership hopes to hold two meetings with the Russian president before the end of the year.
A summit meeting has been set for September 17 at the border between the Bryansk and Chernihiv regions, from where the two presidents will move to Zavidovo, Ukraine's ambassador to Russia, Volodymyr Yelchenko, said at a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday.
"A meeting of the greater intergovernmental commission, the last one this year, will take place in November," he said, adding that contacts will be held at other levels, as well.
