KIEV, Sept. 1 – Ukraine will seek not only lower prices for Russian natural gas, but also higher tariffs for shipments of gas to Europe in talks with Moscow, a top Ukrainian official said Wednesday.

Serhiy Liovochkin, the chief of staff at President Viktor Yanukovych’s administration, said Yanukovych had instructed the government to continue to press for changing the 10-year gas agreement with Russia.
