KIEV, Aug. 13 – Ukraine and China are planning to boost the volume of their military and technical cooperation to $1.2 billion by 2012.
The estimates were announced by the partners at the sixth meeting of the Ukrainian-Chinese intergovernmental coordinating commission on military and technical cooperation, which was recently held in China, the Ukrainian Industry Ministry announced.
"A number of agreements were reached after the meeting, new promising areas of cooperation were outlined, and a respective protocol was signed," the ministry said.
