KIEV, Aug. 4 – The continued heatwave means the chance of outbreaks of wildfires remains high on Wednesday in Ukraine, apart from the country's western regions, the Emergencies Ministry has reported, with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Forecasting Center.
On Wednesday afternoon, dry weather and extreme heat will affect large parts of Ukraine, with air temperatures rising as high as 35-39 degrees Celsius, and temperatures reaching 40-42 degrees Celsius in eastern regions, as well as in Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
