KIEV, July 29 – President Viktor Yanukovych met top law enforcement officials on Thursday to get a briefing on the investigation into a bomb explosion killed one and injured eight at a Ukrainian church on Wednesday.

He called the explosion a “challenge thrown to Ukrainian society by bandits,” and called for a quick investigation.

“This is very important and this is what the Ukrainian society is waiting for,” Yanukovych told the officials. “We have to give response to what was the motive behind this crime?”
