KIEV, July 12 – Ukraine plans to hold a stake of over 50% in the statutory fund of a nuclear fuel production joint venture being created in the country.

The said obligatory condition is stipulated in procedures for the assessment of proposals of bidders at a tender to select technology and a partner to set up a nuclear fuel production JV in Ukraine. The procedures have been posted on the Ukrainska Pravda online publication's Web site.

The criteria for the selection of the technology and the partner include five sections: obligatory requirements for cooperation, technologies, economy, cooperation conditions and additional proposals of tender bidders.
