KIEV, July 5 – CIS states should give up playing a role of a raw materials-producing appendage and cheap workforce source for the international economy in the future, First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev said at an investment conference in Yalta.

"Ukraine, being a geographic center of Europe, is ready to use its potential for improving relations between the European Union states and CIS states to restore economic power and prosperity of our sister nations," he said.
