KIEV, June 24 - Ukraine plans to commission a new nuclear power reactor at Khmelnytskiy Nuclear Power Plant in 2016, followed by another reactor in 2017, EnergoAtom President Yuriy Nedashkivskiy said Thursday.
Khmelnytskiy now has two nuclear power reactors in operation, but the two more are supposed to be built jointly with Rosatom, Russia’s nuclear power authority, in a project worth $3.8 billion.
