KIEV, May 21 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny doesn’t expect an amicable settlement of a legal dispute with Swiss-based gas trader RosUkrEnergo over 11 billion cubic meters of gas, Naftogaz chief Yevhen Bakulin said Friday.
RosUkrEnergo seeks to win about $5.4 billion in compensation for the gas that it claims has been confiscated by the government in January 2009.
“We appealed to court and we will go to the end,” a spokesman at Naftogaz said quoting Bakulin.
