KIEV, May 19 – Kiev is not planning to make any concessions in the issue of the maritime border between Ukraine and Russia, but is ready to reach a compromise on economic issues, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Voloshyn.

"We insist on a clear delimitation of borders, but we are ready to reach a compromise in the economic component. We are ready to search for such models that will help the Russian ship-owners, in particular, ships flying the Russian flag, feel comfortable crossing the [Kerch] Strait," he said at a briefing in Kiev on Wednesday.
