KIEV, May 14 – The expenditures of Parliament in 2010 will total over UAH 875 million, Regions Party faction leader Oleksandr Yefremov told reporters on Friday.

"The Verkhovna Rada's budget was approved at UAH 875,637,700," he said.

Yefremov said that Parliament's expenditures were lower last year. This year they have grown due to the rise in inflation, and the budget grew by 15%, he added.

He also noted that many articles of the Verkhovna Rada's expenditures were not being financed this year, and "a reduction will be made on some issues."
