KIEV, May 12 – Ukrainian authorities have decided to interrogate opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko on May 17, the day when Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is due to arrive in Kiev for signing a number of agreements.

Tymoshenko earlier called for a “powerful” protest rally on May 17 to try to prevent the signing of the agreements, which she claims would surrender the country’s national interests.
