SOCHI, April 30 - Russia and Ukraine could soon be working on joint nuclear projects in third countries.
"We want to expand this cooperation, build new power units of the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant, and engage our Ukrainian partners in working under a new large-scale program for the development of the Russian nuclear power industry. In addition, we are willing to enter the markets of third countries together," Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a press conference following Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Sochi on Friday.
In the past several years, Russia "has accumulated a package of foreign orders for the construction of power facilities," Putin said.
