KIEV, April 19 – The International Atomic Energy Agency is ready to provide assistance to Ukraine in implementing its decision to give up highly enriched uranium, the IAEA headquarters told German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle.

"Giving up uranium is Ukraine's decision, so the agency cannot comment on it or welcome it," the IAEA told Deutsche Welle on Friday.

At the same time, the organization expressed its readiness to help Ukraine implement this decision.
