KIEV, April 16 - Ukraine and Russia on Friday made “certain progress” in talks over re-negotiating a 10-year natural gas supply agreement towards lowering gas prices, the Ukrainian government said in a statement.
The statement was issued hours after the talks between Energy and Fuel Minister Yuriy Boyko and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller in Moscow.
“The meeting was constructive,” the statement said. “A certain progress has been made in agreeing positions and approaches towards revising the gas agreement.”
