KIEV, April 15 – The opposition factions of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT) and the Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense (OU-PSD) Bloc have criticized the program for Ukraine's social and economic development for 2010, which was adopted by Parliament at first reading on Thursday.
While discussing the document, which was tabled by the government at a parliamentary session on Thursday, BYT faction member and the leader of the shadow government, Serhiy Sobolev, said that even a preliminary, cursory examination of the document suggested that many clauses in it repeated the proposals that had already been drawn up and submitted by the government led by former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
