WASHINGTON, April 13 - President Viktor Yanukovych predicts his country will make at least UAH 10 billion in privatization proceeds.

"UAH 10 billion at minimum should be received from privatization this year," Yanukovych said during a working lunch with U.S. businessmen in Washington on Monday. Ukraine has a full range of "promising" properties that could be privatized as early as this year, he said.

"We're talking about Ukrtelecom, Luhansk diesel locomotive plant, and thermal-power enterprises, Yanukovych said.
