MOSCOW, March 10 – A senior Russian official on Wednesday said President Viktor Yanukovych should work to introduce the Russian language as the second state language in Ukraine to improve bilateral relations quickly.

Boris Gryzlov, the speaker of the Duma, the lower house of the Russian Parliament, reacted to comments made by Yanukovych on Tuesday that Ukrainian will remain the only state language.
