MOSCOW, March 5 – President Viktor Yanukovych on Friday pledged to change Ukraine’s foreign policy course towards greater cooperation with Russia in hopes of easing years of tension and boosting mutual trade.

Yanukovych traveled to Moscow for talks with his Russian counterpart President Dmitry Medvedev and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, seeking to end the period of frosty relations of the past four years.
