Russian missile kills 51 in Poltava academy

Ukraine’s business activity expectations accelerate increase in August

KYIV, Sept 3 – The Business activity expectations index (BAEI), calculated by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on a scale from zero to 100, continued to grow after increasing by 0.8 points in July, and gained another 4 points in August, to 48.4, approaching the value of May this year (48 points), the regulator’s website reports.

Ukrgasbank to lend UAH 4-bln to Ukrnafta for new projects

KYIV, Aug 30 – State-owned UGB Bank (Ukrgasbank) and PJSC Ukrnafta have signed a loan agreement, according to which the company will receive UAH 4 billion to implement an investment program to increase oil and gas production by drilling new wells and building modern gas piston units, as well as to implement cogeneration projects, the state bank’s website reported on Friday.
