KIEV, Feb. 24 - The share of bad credits in the total amount of loans extended by Ukrainian banks in January fell 0.1%, to 9.3% by February 1, 2010, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.
The amount of bad credits in monetary terms in January went down by 2.5% or UAH 1.72 billion, to UAH 68.215 billion, the NBU said.
As reported, in 2009 the volume of bad credits jumped by 3.9 times, to UAH 69.935 billion.
